The Australasian RNA Biology and Biotechnology Association (A-RNA) is a non-profit scientific association spanning Australasia dedicated to foster research and education in the field of RNA – its biology, functions, science and its application.

The purposes of A-RNA are

• To promote the scientific knowledge and clinical application of ribonucleic acid (RNA) and related technologies through research, publications, discussion, support of young investigators and organisation of scientific meetings.
• Create a forum for presentation and discussion of all aspects of research and application of RNA, nucleic acids and related field by hosting an annual conference focused on RNA biology, biotechnology emphasising the highest quality of science

Other activities include engagement of key stakeholders in Australasia and sponsorship of awards to promote education and training.
