We welcome your registration for the SMSF Association National Conference 2026.  It is important to read all the information on the website before you commence. Please note all prices quoted are in Australian dollars (AU$) and are inclusive of goods and services tax (GST). 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION

  • All information should be typed in upper and lower case (eg John Smith)
  • Please use the ‘Tab’ key to move from one field to the next 
  • As you complete the details on each page, click ‘Next’ to proceed to the next section
  • You will have the opportunity to review and edit your registration details before the final stage of confirmation and payment
  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are the preferred platforms for use of the form


MEMBER SAVINGS

In order to obtain the member savings, you must be a financial member of the SMSF Association at the time of registering. Special Offers may be limited to specific membership categories and/or other specific criteria.

To confirm your membership status, please contact the SMSF Association on (08) 8205 1950 or email memberservices@smsfassociation.com. Members who have not renewed their membership for the 2025/26 membership year may not re-join at pro-rata rates and participate in the early bird registration. If you wish to access membership rates you must renew your 2025/26 membership in full. 

 

NOTE: For registrations made less than 30 days prior to the event (on or after Friday 16 January 2026), credit card is the only payment option available.

As part of the registration process we will collect your personal data and need your consent to be able to use it as per the privacy policy of SMSF Association (click here to view) and WALDRONSMITH Management (click here to view).

If you do not give consent for your details to be used, you cannot register for the conference and you will be redirected to the conference website.

By completing your registration, you agree that the SMSF Association may use your personal data and share details with some of the event partners to facilitate your participation for this event only. 

Additionally, by registering for this event the SMSF Association and WALDRONSMITH Management reserves the right to collect and provide your contact details to authorities for the purposes of contact tracing and any relevant government requirements.

If a registration is made less than 30 days prior to the Conference (Friday 16 January 2026) credit card is the only payment option available. A 1% surcharge applies to Visa and Mastercard payments and 1.5% surcharge for American Express payments.

New member declaration

I hereby apply to become a member of the SMSF Association and agree to disclose any further information required by the Association.

I declare that all information supplied in this application is true and correct.

I declare that in the past 10 years, I have not been:

1. Convicted of a criminal or serious civil offence, or been subject to any disciplinary action under the Corporations Act, the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993, Income Tax Assessment Act or Financial Services Reform Act.

2. Subject to any disciplinary action or investigations by a professional association or regulatory body, nor have I had any restrictions or disqualifications imposed on my professional status by any professional association or regulatory body.

3. Declared bankrupt in my personal capacity, or operated as an officer of a corporate entity which has been declared insolvent, either in Australia or elsewhere.

Furthermore, I declare that no other matter exists that could impact on whether I am a fit and proper person of good fame, integrity, and character. If such a matter does apply, I have fully disclosed it to the SMSF Association. I understand that the Association has sole discretion to determine whether I am fit and proper to hold membership.

Once admitted to membership, I agree to pay all membership fees within 14 days of notification. I understand that my membership may cease if the fees are not paid by the due date.

I acknowledge that I am required to comply with the SMSF Association Constitution, Code of Professional Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures, Rules and Conditions relevant to my membership status, CPD Policy, requirements of the Quality Review Program, and Privacy Policy, all available at www.smsfassociation.com.

I acknowledge that I have appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance relevant to the SMSF products and or services that I offer.

I agree not to use the Specialist designations, or in any way hold out to be a Specialist Member, until obtaining Specialist Member accreditation.


PRINTED CONFERENCE WORKBOOK

For 2026, the SMSF Association will continue to look into ways in which we can be more sustainable and minimise our wastage.

With this in mind, we are asking attendees to nominate whether they wish to receive a printed copy of the full Conference workbook. Access to a soft copy will be made available online to all delegates.

THOUGHT LEADERSHIP BREAKFAST

 

The SMSF Association Thought Leadership Breakfast presented by Class will be held on Wednesday 18 February from 8.00am-10.00am at the Adelaide Convention Centre, prior to the official Conference opening. The Breakfast is an optional session and is not included within the registration package. Numbers for the breakfast are limited so we encourage you to book early.  Please tick below to purchase your ticket.

The SMSF Association National Conference 2026 program will offer the six workshops listed below that will run in conjunction with the concurrent sessions. Further information on the workshops can be found by clicking the 'i' next to the workshop name below.

  • To ensure fair access, each delegate may register for only one workshop.
  • All workshops will be recorded and made available for on-demand viewing after the event.
  • Workshops will not have waitlists. If a session is full, there will be an option to register onsite at the Information Desk, where you can check availability.

  • A valid credit card number must be provided to secure your booking. The card detailed will be shared with the hotel as a guarantee of your booking. 
  • You are responsible for settling your room and incidental expenses direct with the hotel.   
  • Please note the terms and conditions for cancellation (or reduction by one or more nights) or no-shows for each hotel when considering your options. If applicable, it is noted in the terms and conditions if a hotel requires a one night’s deposit paid in advance; if so, this will be charged to your nominated credit card.

CHANGE OF BOOKING
To make a subsequent change or to cancel your booking, notification must be made via email to the Conference Office.  Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted nor will the hotels accept any changes direct.

REGISTRATION PAYMENT

Online registrations can be paid by credit card (Visa/Mastercard/American Express) or by electronic funds transfer. If a registration is made less than 30 days prior to the event (on or after Friday 16 January 2026), credit card is the only payment option available. Participation is not confirmed until full payment is received.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
If you would like to pay by electronic funds transfer (bank transfers) please select the 'EFT Payment' option below.  A tax invoice will be generated and emailed to you immediately with your registration confirmation email. Bank account details for payment of the due amount will be included on the invoice.

Please use your full name or invoice number as a reference. To ensure prompt processing of your payment, please email your payment remittance advice to the Conference office.

All payments are to be made in Australian dollars. All bank fees incurred with electronic funds transfer, whether international or national, are at your expense.
