The Alliance for the Prevention of Mental Disorders (APMD) Symposium and Scientific Meeting of the Mental Health Australian General Clinical Trials Network (MAGNET) will be held on Tuesday 24 November at the Conference venue. In addition, a pre-Conference workshop will be held offsite at Manawa. Please note for planning purposes, if you register for either of the pre-Conference meetings, your name, position and organisation will be provided to the official representatives of the organisations managing the meetings and workshop.

In light of increased operating costs across the airline industry, delegates are encouraged to secure flights and accommodation at the earliest opportunity to access the most favourable availability and fares. Accommodation Notice

As Christchurch will be hosting multiple events during this period, accommodation demand is expected to be high. Delegates are strongly advised to book accommodation as early as possible. A selection of accommodation options located within walking distance of the Conference venue is available and can be viewed via the Conference website. Early reservations are recommended to ensure availability and preferred room allocations.

PLEASE NOTE:

• A valid credit card number must be provided to secure your booking. The card detailed will be shared with the hotel as a guarantee of your booking. 
• You are responsible for settling your room and incidental expenses direct with the hotel.   
• Please note the terms and conditions for cancellation (or reduction by one or more nights) or no-shows for each hotel when considering your options. If applicable, it is noted in the terms and conditions below if a hotel requires payment in advance; if so, this will charged to your nominated credit card.
• Accommodation is held from Sunday 22 November 2026 to Sunday 29 November 2026. If you require dates outside of this period, please note your preferred dates in the 'Special Requirements' section. The Delegate Services Team will contact the hotel direct and advise you of availability

DEADLINES
The hotels impose strict release dates of 30 days prior to arrival, so any bookings made after Thursday 22 October 2026 will be subject to availability.

CHANGE OF BOOKING
To make a subsequent change or to cancel your booking, notification must be made via email to the Conference Office. Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted nor will the hotels accept any changes direct.
