WOUND SYMPOSIUM 2026 REGISTRATION FORM



The Wound Symposium 2026 will be held on Friday 24 July 2026, from 8am - 5.30pm, in the Lyon Room, Sofitel Central.
Registration is AU$400 (including GST).

Accommodation options are available for your selection within walking distance of the Congress venue. More information about the options can be found on the website. We encourage to secure your bookings early.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • A valid credit card number must be provided to secure your booking. The card detailed will be shared with the hotel as a guarantee of your booking. 
  • You are responsible for settling your room and incidental expenses direct with the hotel.   
  • Please note the terms and conditions for cancellation (or reduction by one or more nights) or no-shows for each hotel when considering your options. If applicable, it is noted in the terms and conditions below if a hotel requires a one night’s deposit paid in advance; if so, this will charged to your nominated credit card.
  • Accommodation is held from Wednesday 22 July to Sunday 26 July 2026. If you require dates outside of this period, please note your preferred dates in the 'Special Requirements' section. The Delegate Services Team will contact the hotel direct and advise you of availability


DEADLINES
The hotels impose strict release dates of 30 days prior to arrival, so any bookings made after 22 June 2026 will be subject to availability.

CHANGE OF BOOKING
To make a subsequent change or to cancel your booking, notification must be made via email to the Congress Office.  Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted nor will the hotels accept any changes direct.

Terms and Conditions

When registering online, you are asked to consider and agree to the following terms and conditions:

VOLUNTARY CANCELLATION

Should you decide to cancel your registration, the following refunds will apply from the date of receipt of notification: 

  • On or before Wednesday 22 April 2026: 100% refund less an administration fee of $110
  • On or before Friday 22 May 2026: 75% refund less an administration fee of $110   
  • On or before Monday 22 June 2026: 50% refund less an administration fee of $110  
  • On or After Tuesday 23 June 2026: No refund available, however, registration may be transferred to another individual 

Refunds will be returned by the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. 

Please note no refund or discount will be made if a function or event inclusive within the registration fee is not taken up, or if you subsequently cancel your participation in that function or event. 

Optional social event tickets may be cancelled on or before Monday 22 June 2026 and will be refunded in full by the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. After Tuesday 23 June 2026 no refunds will be made, however an alternative delegate name may be provided by email and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.

If accommodation has been secured through the Congress website, please refer to the individual cancellation terms and conditions for each individual hotel. 

In the case of extenuating circumstances, a refund outside of these terms and conditions may be considered by and at the discretion of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) upon application.

If the Congress converts to a hybrid format in-person to virtual or virtual to in-person registrations, may be permitted and will be processed on a case-by-case basis following application to the Congress Office.

DECLINE OF REGISTRATION 
The ASPS reserves the right to decline your registration at their discretion and if so, a full refund will apply.

CONGRESS CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT
The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) may cancel or postpone the Congress due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action, fire, explosion, inevitable accident, breakdown of property, changes in law, or pandemics or global health crises. Due to the nature of the event, it may be reasonable to postpone the event to a later year and/or to change the location for the Congress. 

In the event the Congress is not able to proceed as planned, and is moved to a virtual format, your registration will be transferred to a virtual registration. If you choose not to attend the virtual the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) will not be required to refund any part of the Congress registration fee.

In the event of postponement of the Congress, if, when requested, you advise that you are willing to attend the rescheduled Congress, the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) will transfer the registration and guarantee the same conditions and equivalent registration entitlements (subject to reasonable modification and availability) at the rescheduled event. If, at a later date, you then choose not to attend the rescheduled Congress, the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) will not be required to refund any part of the Congress registration fee. 

In the event of a full cancellation of the Congress by the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS)by the, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount of the Congress registration fee received.

The maximum liability of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) under these Terms and Conditions is limited to a refund of the Congress registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other associated costs.

DELEGATE CANCELLATION - MEDICAL 
If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the Congress, you must cancel your attendance in writing by email to the Congress Office.  A virtual registration (if available) may be offered, with any difference in price refunded. A full refund may be provided at the discretion of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS); however, you may be asked to provide additional details.

INSURANCE
Participants are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and the PSC 2026 Congress Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard. 

DISCLAIMER
By registering, you acknowledge and consent that during your attendance at the Congress your image or voice may be recorded via video, photography or by any other means by an officer or official of the Plastic Surgery Congress, which may be distributed or published at the discretion of the ASPS. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to formally advise the Congress Office in advance by email.

REGISTRATION PAYMENT

Online registrations can be paid by credit card (Visa/Mastercard) or by electronic funds transfer. Please note if a registration is made less than 30 days prior to the event (on or after Tuesday 23 June 2026) credit card is the only payment option available. Participation is not confirmed until full payment is received.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
If you would like to pay by electronic funds transfer (bank transfers) please select the 'Payment by Invoice' option below.  A tax invoice will be generated and emailed to you immediately with your registration confirmation email. Bank account details for payment of the due amount will be included on the invoice. 

Please use your full name or invoice number as a reference. To ensure prompt processing of your payment, please email your payment remittance advice to the Congress Office.

All payments are to be made in Australian dollars. All bank fees incurred with electronic funds transfer, whether international or national, are at your expense.
