We welcome your registration for the APAC Wind Energy Summit 2025. It is important to read all the information on the website before you commence. Please note all prices quoted are in Australian dollars (AU$) and are inclusive of goods and services tax (GST). 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION

  • All information should be typed in upper and lower case (eg John Smith)
  • Please use the ‘Tab’ key to move from one field to the next 
  • As you complete the details on each page, click ‘Next’ to proceed to the next section
  • You will have the opportunity to review and edit your registration details before the final stage of confirmation and payment
  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are the preferred platforms for use of the form

PLEASE NOTE: From 15 August 2025 onwards all online registrations must be paid in full by credit card.

ACCOMMODATION


As we are now within 30 days of the Summit, all accommodation requests are subject to availability. If you wish to request an accommodation booking, please email the Summit Office. Information about accommodation can be found on the website.


PLEASE NOTE:

  • A valid credit card number must be provided to secure your booking. The card detailed will be shared with the hotel as a guarantee of your booking. 
  • You are responsible for settling your room and incidental expenses direct with the hotel.   
  • Please note the terms and conditions for cancellation (or reduction by one or more nights) or no-shows for each hotel when considering your options. If applicable, it is noted in the terms and conditions below if a hotel requires a one night’s deposit paid in advance; if so, this will charged to your nominated credit card.


DEADLINES
The hotels impose strict release dates of 30 days prior to arrival, so any bookings made after 15 August 2025 will be subject to availability.

CHANGE OF BOOKING
To make a subsequent change or to cancel your booking, notification must be made via email to the Summit Office.  Verbal changes or cancellations cannot be accepted nor will the hotels accept any changes direct.

REGISTRATION SUMMARY

Once you are satisfied the below information reflects your registration requirements, please review the Cancellation and Refund Terms and Conditions and indicate your agreement to these below. You will then proceed to the payment page.


 

Terms and Conditions

When registering online, you are asked to consider and agree to the following terms and conditions:

VOLUNTARY CANCELLATION

Should you decide to cancel your registration, the following refunds will apply from the date of receipt of notification: 

  • On or before 16 June 2025: 100% refund less an administration fee of $110
  • On or before 16 July 2025: 75% refund less an administration fee of $110   
  • On or before 15 August 2025: 50% refund less an administration fee of $110  
  • After 16 August 2025: No refund available

Refunds will be returned by the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. 

No refund will be made after 16 August 2025, however an alternative delegate name may be provided by email and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly. 

Please note no refund or discount will be made if a function or event inclusive within the registration fee is not taken up, or if you subsequently cancel your participation in that function or event. 

Optional social event tickets may be cancelled on or before 15 August 2025 and will be refunded in full by the same payment method as the original receipt of funds. After 16 August 2025 no refunds will be made, however an alternative delegate name may be provided by email and the booking and funds will be allocated accordingly.

If accommodation has been secured through the Summit website, please refer to the individual cancellation terms and conditions for each individual hotel. 

In the case of extenuating circumstances, a refund outside of these terms and conditions may be considered by and at the discretion of the Organising Committee upon application.

If the Summit converts to a hybrid format in-person to virtual or virtual to in-person registrations, may be permitted and will be processed on a case-by-case basis following application to the Summit Office.

SUMMIT CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT
Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) may cancel or postpone the Summit due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to Acts of God, terrorism, war, strikes or industrial action, fire, explosion, inevitable accident, breakdown of property, changes in law, or pandemics or global health crises. Due to the nature of the event, it may be reasonable to postpone the event to a later year and/or to change the location for the Summit. 

In the event the Summit is not able to proceed as planned, and is moved to a virtual format, your registration will be transferred to a virtual registration. If you choose not to attend the virtual Summit, Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) will not be required to refund any part of the Summit registration fee.

In the event of postponement of the Summit, if, when requested, you advise that you are willing to attend the rescheduled Summit, Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) will transfer the registration and guarantee the same conditions and equivalent registration entitlements (subject to reasonable modification and availability) at the rescheduled event. If, at a later date, you then choose not to attend the rescheduled Summit, the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) will not be required to refund any part of the Summit registration fee. 

In the event of a full cancellation of the Summit by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount of the Summit registration fee received.

The maximum liability of the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) under these Terms and Conditions is limited to a refund of the Summit registration fee with no additional liability for travel costs, hotel costs, or any other associated costs.

DELEGATE CANCELLATION - MEDICAL 
If, on medical grounds, you are unable to attend the Summit, you must cancel your attendance in writing by email to insert event email address. A virtual registration (if available) will may be offered, with any difference in price refunded. A full refund may be provided at the discretion of the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), however you may be asked to provide additional details.

INSURANCE
Participants are strongly advised to secure appropriate travel and health insurance. Delegate registration fees do not provide any such insurance coverage. Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) and the Summit Office accept no responsibility for any loss in this regard. 

DISCLAIMER
By registering, you acknowledge and consent that during your attendance at the Summit your image or voice may be recorded via video, photography or by any other means by an officer or official of the Summit, which may be distributed or published at the discretion of the Summit. If you do not wish to be recorded, you are required to formally advise the Summit Office in advance by email.

REGISTRATION PAYMENT

As we are now within 30 days of the event, all online registrations must now be paid by via credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). Please note ‘WALDRONSMITH Management’ will appear on your credit card transaction statement. 

Participation is not confirmed until full payment is received.
