It is with great pleasure that I invite you to participate in the ANZAOMS Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM), to be held in beautiful Christchurch, New Zealand, from 6–8 August 2026.
Following the strong success of past ASMs, the 2026 meeting will offer a rich and engaging scientific program alongside a dynamic exhibition and social program. It remains a key opportunity to reunite with colleagues, form new connections, and uphold the camaraderie and fellowship that make our meetings unique.
Our ASM continues to play a vital role in ANZAOMS’ mission to foster scientific curiosity and provide a forum to reflect on current developments and future trends in our specialty. The exhibition and the generous support of our sponsors are integral to the meeting’s success, creating valuable opportunities for networking and collaboration across a wide range of industry partners.
Hosted at the Te Pae a world-class, purpose-built convention and exhibition venue located in the heart of Christchurch’s revitalised city centre. We are also delighted to invite you to the ASM Gala Dinner, to be held in the iconic Christchurch Town Hall, a fitting venue for an evening of celebration and connection.
In an exciting addition, the ASM will be co-located with the New Zealand Association of Orthodontists (NZAO) Educational and Research Development Group (ERDG). They will join us on Friday for joint plenary sessions and will run their own dedicated sessions on Saturday. This collaboration offers an excellent opportunity for our specialties to align, address shared challenges, explore new opportunities, and build valuable professional connections.
I look forward to welcoming you and your colleagues to Christchurch for the ANZAOMS 2026 ASM.
Dr Angus Cameron
